Velthurns Castle

Velthurns Castle, also known as Velturno Castle, is a remarkable example of Renaissance architecture located in the town of Feldthurns in northern Italy. Constructed between 1577 and 1587 by Cardinal Christof Madrutz and Bishop Johannes Spaur, the castle served as the summer residence for the archbishops of Bressanone (Brixen) until 1803.
