Tiefburg Castle is a notable medieval ruin located in Heidelberg, Germany, with origins that trace back to the 12th century. While the exact date of construction and the original builder remain uncertain, historical evidence suggests that the castle was likely established either by the Abbey of Lorsch or the Count Palatinates of the Rhine, who later became known as the Prince Electors of the Palatinate.
