Montevetrano Castle

Montevetrano Castle stands as a significant medieval fortress located in the municipality of San Cipriano Picentino, Italy. Its origins trace back to a Roman castrum established in the 3rd century BC, initially constructed to oversee and control the Picentine populations relocated to the plain of Sele.
