Matsukura Castle

Matsukura Castle (松倉城, Matsukura-jō) is a significant example of a yamajiro-style or mountain castle from Japan's Muromachi period, located in what is now Uozu city, within Toyama Prefecture in the Hokuriku region. Constructed in the 14th century, this hill castle was strategically positioned to oversee key routes and exert control over the surrounding terrain.
