Koz Castle

Koz Castle, also known as Kürşat Castle, is a medieval fortress ruin located in the Altınözü district of Hatay Province, Turkey. Positioned strategically on a small hill at the source of the Kuseyr Creek, the castle was constructed by the Principality of Antioch using finely cut ashlar masonry. This site served as a defensive stronghold during the High Medieval period, reflecting the military architecture and geopolitical tensions of the era.
