Facing difficulties in maintaining the estate within the family, the Woevodskis reached an agreement in 1969 with the Caixa d’Estalvis de Girona, a local savings bank, which took over ownership following Dorothy's death in 1980. A 2019 development plan proposed adding new buildings, sparking some debate about preserving the site's heritage.
