Himarë Castle

Himarë Castle, locally known as Kalaja e Himarës, is situated in the village of Himarë, within the Vlorë County of Albania. This historic site occupies a prominent 240-meter-high rocky hill overlooking the Adriatic Sea, offering commanding views of the surrounding coastline. The location has been continuously significant since Antiquity, originally known as Chimarra.
