Castle Upton is a notable historic residence located in the village of Templepatrick, Northern Ireland. The site originally hosted a 13th-century fortified priory belonging to the Knights of St John, reflecting its early medieval religious and military significance. The current structure was erected around 1610 by the Norton family, settlers during the Plantation of Ulster, marking a transition from ecclesiastical to private noble ownership.
