Castle of Pico

The Castle of Pico, known in Italian as Castello dei Pico, is a prominent hill castle located in the heart of Mirandola, a town in the province of Modena, Italy. This castle is a significant example of medieval military architecture and holds a rich history tied to the noble House of Pico della Mirandola, who governed the city for over four centuries from 1311 to 1711.

Constructed originally in the 12th century, the castle's strategic position atop a hill provided a commanding view over the surrounding landscape, making it a formidable defensive structure.
