Sarnowo

Sarnowo Castle is a historically significant late medieval defensive residence located on the right bank of the Przypalenica River at the edge of the village of Sarnowo, Poland. The site is marked today by an earthen mound, the remaining trace of what was once a fortified complex. The castle's origins date back to the 14th century, when the estate and surrounding villages were owned by the noble Świnka family, who are credited as the founders of this defensive stronghold.
