Melník Castle

Melník Castle stands as a significant historical monument in the town of Mělník, Czechia. In 1753, the castle passed into the hands of the Lobkowicz family through the marriage of Countess Ludmila Czernin to Prince August Anton Lobkowicz. Except for interruptions during World War II and the 41 years of communist rule in Czechoslovakia, the castle has remained under the stewardship of the Lobkowicz family, preserving its historical legacy.
