Kaštelina Tower

Kaštelina Tower, also known locally as Kula Kaštelina or Kaštel Zaton, is a historic Renaissance-era defensive structure located in the village of Zaton, within the Zadar County of Croatia. This tower is a significant example of the coastal fortifications erected during the 16th century when the Republic of Venice controlled the Dalmatian coast and faced persistent threats from the expanding Ottoman Empire.
