Priene Castle

Priene Castle, also known locally as Priene Kalesi or Samsum Kale, is a historic fortress situated atop Teloneia mountain, northwest of the village of Güllübahçe in the Aydın province of Turkey. This site represents the acropolis of the ancient Greek city of Priene, a significant urban center of the Ionian League during the Classical period.
