Passirano Castle, known locally as Castello di Passirano, is situated adjacent to the village of Passirano in the Brescia province within Italy's Lombardy region. This castle occupies a historically strategic position, originally constructed to provide protection against invasions during turbulent times in medieval Italy.

The earliest records mention a castle at this site around the year 1000 AD, likely erected in the 10th century as a defensive measure against Hungarian raids that threatened the region. Originally called the castle of Passirano Sera, its primary function was to serve as a refuge for local inhabitants rather than as a noble residence.
