Château de Jallanges is a historic château located in Vernou-sur-Brenne, France, renowned for its transition from a medieval fortress to a refined Renaissance residence. Originally part of the holdings of René du Perray, a knight-banneret, in the early 13th century, the site reflects centuries of architectural evolution and noble ownership. By 1462, it was owned by Jean Gaudin, a canon of Tours, marking its early ecclesiastical connections.
